Collectible or Curiosity?
M&G at BJU & Heritage Green
You are invited to attend the Museum & Gallery’s annual antique event,
Collectible or Curiosity. Many of us
possess curious heirlooms and old
knick-knacks that have been in the
family for years. These items are
part of our family heritage and often
reflect our community or region’s
history. M&G invites you to bring
your curiosities and collectibles to
our appraisers where they can help
you determine if your antiques are
valuable for more than just sentiment.

M&G at BJU
In the spirit of the great private
collections and museums of the past, M&G’s exhibition gallery showcases some of the collection’s greatest Baroque paintings hung salonstyle—floor-to-ceiling. It’s sure to overwhelm the senses. Patrons young and old will discover how great collections were once formed and how a collector’s most prized possessions were exclusively exhibited in a room
such as The Grand Picture Gallery.
Fee: Free with general admission

M&G at Heritage Green
From ancient times to the present, portraits have immortalized and memorialized the famous and
beloved. In the hands of a master portraitist, a king’s public persona
can be artfully crafted, a child’s spirit intimately captured, or a donor’s
contribution subtly acknowledged. Portraiture is a rich, nuanced interpretation
of how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us. The Power of the Portrait showcases over
30 compelling portraits from the 15th through the 20th centuries and
provides an interactive and engaging“window” into the multi-faceted
world of portraiture—a view for the whole family to explore and enjoy.
Fee: Free with general admission
Bowen Collection of Antiquities

come alive.” Guests today can enjoy
viewing many ancient objects, including
a first-century ossuary, a Roman looking
glass, and a portion of the Torah.
Fee: Free with general admission.
